Sam pilgrims second score = Complete joke.

stop sucking brandon's cock please.
  • 13 0
Might have put him third. Bret came in a well-deserved second. Absolutely insane level of riding.
  • 1 3
yeah WTF!!! Semenuk definitely should have had to put down a last run in after pilgrim.
  • 5 2
Uh, do you guys not know what opposite is? Brandon had a corked 7 mid run, opposite downside whip, opposite 3 off the drop, etc. etc... Same with Rheeder, nuts. Soderstrom killed it too with a 3 whip, 3 double whip mid run, tuck bar, double whip, etc.

Sam killed it, but didn't get any oppo tricks or anything particularly out of the ordinary other than that kickass flip drop. Flip tucks and tables don't win contests anymore.
  • 1 1
Didn't see Brandon's run, but that sounds sick. I still think Pilgrim should have beaten Soderstrom to the podium - he didn't get the same volume of tricks as Martin, but they were just barspins.
  • 1 0
you re right! and his 2nd run was way sicker than his first but he had the same score. i think that should have been a run with over 90 points
  • 3 0
You guys would clearly not be good judges. There is no denying that Sam had some huge tricks and some pretty difficult stuff. But There is more that is scored than just that. The reason Semenuk wins everything is because he is so technical. Tons of opposite tricks, and ridiculous combos that no one else comes even close to matching. And he is very smooth too. Just looking at the runs, a run like Pilgrim's might look more impressive at first glance but if you get into the details it doesn't deserve as high a score as a more technical run. The judges know what they are looking for and I would say that overall they score these events very well.

Yeah definitely after looking at it a few times I take back my first thoughts

 Pilgrim got robbed...
  • 6 1
True you could see him saying "really" at the end very dissapointed by this as i was getting bored of him wining averything but that was pure robbery there, unlucky pilgs hope to see you do good next time
  • 2 1
to win a fmb event its seems you ahve to trick everything. brandon semenuk is one of those guys who does, and not many people do. i think that is the key to a win. pilgrim really didnt do that much. yea sure he pulled a couple good tricks. but its all about the whole package. if you look at rheeders run you can see he tried so flippin hard to get alot of tricks in and that is the reason he beat pilgrim and soderstrom.i guesss he could have gotten 3rd...if thats where you think he got robbed

I didnt see semenuks winning run but it must have been pritty good, but pilgrim should have at least got podium. i also agree rheeders run was pritty sick as i have never heard much about him but he through a sick line down
  • 2 2
I hate this talk about having to trick everything. All anybody did over Pilgrim was barspin a couple small hits. Shouldn't be the decider in a comp like that.
  • 2 0
it was more than just barspins that the other competitors were throwing down.
  • 11 1
Is it just me or are the judges blind?
-Brandons first run wasn't that good
-^ Totally agree with Joe-Gray
-Brett Rheeders second run not taking first!?!? (Such a sick frontflip on the flat drop!)
-Sams second run not good enough for podium?!?! (Martins run was good but that backflip off the flat drop is insane!)

Pretty messed up judging I think. I think they've been training with Olympic gymnastics judges.

Pilgrim does the first ever flat drop backflip and ends fourth. those judges are trollin..
  • 1 0
It is not the first ever flat drop flip. First one in an MTB comp, yea. Huge, and sick, also yea. But far from the first.
  • 9 0
racism!!! Pilgers should have placed higher than that!!!!!!!!!!!, However Semenuk is and always will be the boss!
  • 8 0
 wow!! pilgrim fla drop backflip
  • 2 0
That was beautiful! I don't think Sams run was better than his
  • 7 0
How did pilgrim not get a better score with his last run!!? Maybe they didn't see the flat drop flip...
He was pretty gutted to. "Really!?"
  • 7 0
Pilgrim's run was the best I've ever seen....and he ends up fourth? Is there some corruption going on here?
  • 2 0
Should be third, possibly second. Rheeder killed it.
  • 8 0
the judging at these contests is a little questionable.....
  • 7 0
Pilgram should have had a podium spot. But Semenuk laid it down again!
  • 5 1
I am so lucky that for the first time this year I don't have to watch the FMB events online, I can actually be there! Then even better I can watch the reply when I get home, perfect!
  • 4 0
Lucky guy! There isnt even 1 event in New zealandFrown i wish there could be AT LEAST a bronze ranked fmb event over here
  • 3 0
Have to point out, Sam is FAR from the first guy to pull a flat drop flip. MacDuff can actually claim to be the first MTB'er to stick one, cause Sam dropped a foot on his first attempt. In BMX, Harry Main has been sticking them in edits and comps for a while now, although on nothing like the scale. Nonetheless, absolutely sick from Sam. Should have been third.
