Video: Rebulding Trails Scorched by Forest Fires in 'Rising From the Ashes'
Thanks to all of you that helped reopen one of my hometown trails! There was a lot of work to be done. (There was a fair amount of local frustration at how long it took to get the "okay" to work on those trails, and then there was all the new rules that went along with building post-fire). To have a crew your size to show up and work on Pete's was much appreciated for the rest of the season! Thanks again.

I'm a big fan of the Norrona fjord flex pants for early/cold Spring -late Autumn/wet riding, sure they're expensive on their website, but wait until they are in the outlet. They last for years, wash (heavy mud) well, breathe, snap ankle closures, can fit knee pads under them, great pockets, adjustable waist, stand up to heavy crashes, repel water etc. Surprised they weren't on the "test" list.

Monserat Announces Range of MTB Pants & Shorts
I went to their website and it's only under the Mens mtn bike pants/short option. I find the ratchet waist closure is great for me as womens pants either gap too much at the waist and/are cut completely wrong for leg size/shape. Also, the pants I currently use for winter mtn biking have a snap closure at the ankle which I always use. Having a pant that tapers at the ankle is great, also advertised is a looser fit around the knee to wear knee pads underneath (which I do sometimes as well).
Maybe I'm a fashion dork, but function over fashion works for me.
