@hamncheez: it seems to me enduro racers value other qualities in bikes like efficiency, predictability, maneuverability...btw rocky team were riding the altitude with custom stroke length to get more travel but maybe they iiked the lightness, i dunno...if you think about it races mostly won by handling corners faster and not straight lining the gnar the faster...

how can i take this as a reference point, if i want to buy a jeffsy 29er? this has more travel and a stiffer -more enduro fork than the rest of the range. pretty deceiving...

fantastic scene and riding. Just curious, how do you go about safety when riding alone in these remote locations? I wouldn't want to get injured all by myself when riding in the middle of nowhere. thanks

@adamdigby: that is so true and pretty much determines which tire you need for which terrain and for how long. During my 6 day shuttle assisted Finale trip tires were worn as much as during 6 month in my normal local riding on forest trails
