Introducing Klamp, a modular range of mounts for action cameras and other exciting cycling accessories. Featuring vibration dampening, high speed – tool free adjustments and military grade strength; Klamp, with its ‘stackable’ modular mounts will add flexibility and creative flair to your next action video.

Klamp’s lead designer has designed military equipment for use by some of the world’s premier Special Operations units. He understands ‘function’ and because no self-respecting operator in the Special Operation community will use anything less than the best equipment; he is a master of ‘form’.

Previous clients are some of the toughest people on earth and are equally tough on their equipment. Our lead designer is so confident of the durability of Klamp products that Klamp offers the promise ‘you break it, we replace it! SIMPLE’ Born from a desire to capture better action footage from new and exciting angles, Klamp allows you to use different action cameras on the same mounting bracket. Explore new camera angles, rapidly transition from one mounting location to another and adjust the shooting angle on the fly.

Efficiently use precious bar space; save it for important cockpit controls like shifters and brakes. ‘Stackable’ options allow you to mount your action camera and remote, or your Garmin computer and your camera. Then when you realize you are still out after dark, Klamp on a set of our USB rechargeable lights and head home to edit your footage.

I thought it was possible on all helmets?

It puts a dampener on my mood to see that.

It bugs me too, but you have a better sense of humor about it than I do! haha

I would love to see a full face helmet chin mount that provides the cockpit view but with the inherent stability of a traditional helmet mount. I understand that would be a tall order given the number of different helmet designs, but its still on my wish list. :-) Maybe an adjustable clamp of sorts.....

I used to do this with a point and shoot camera before the days of gopro and the results were great. However, now I just do the side of the helmet which gives a similar perspective. The only downside is you can see part of the helmet in the shot.

That would be sweet but im still waiting for the goggle mount

After having these questions deleted from your facebook page i figured i'd pose them here, where you have no ability to sweep them under the rug.

You state you want an easier to set up solution where you can fit it and change angles but without having to set up the angle of the gopro each time you relocate it. Then you use the standard gopro case and screw attachment. If you switch from a helmet cam to a chest cam the angles are going to be different, so you still need to unscrew the gopro thumb screw and reposition the camera.

The vibration DAMPING is mentioned but you show no before/after for vibration reduction. In fact, the footage doesnt seem to show much vibration difference at all.

Sure you've made the camera relocation a little quicker, but the mandate says people were fed up and wanted a tool free system. Gopro original mounts ARE TOOL FREE!

So basically, you can relocate a little quicker.
You still need to adjust the camera angle and set it up everytime you use it.
Its hella more expensive.
Its modular for fitting some fairly basic led lights.

How is this an improvement?

Surely a rugged motor based steadycam bracket would have been better?
  • 5 2
Great... finally there are gopro mounts that look even more ridiculous on your helmet than the original ones.
  • 2 0
Invent a mini steady-cam gimbal for the GoPro, & the world will come running to your door begging you to take their money.
  • 1 0
I have one... I'll see if I can find a pic, it's a mini steady cam that's built for GoPro, or any other small point and shoot, you just use the tripod mount for the GoPro to attach it. Adjustable weights so you can get it gliding along perfectly.
  • 1 0
Nice. But it's got to mount to handlebars or a helmet before everyone will want one.
  • 4 1
I would use this for sure. it would probably get me out using my go pro more too
  • 2 1
they are kind of big though. the mount itself on the helmet doesn't look very elegant
  • 22 1
Yeah, I always find feeling eleant is at the top of my list when I'm wearing my garish troy lee gear, covered in dirt and have a camera stuck to my bonce.

Djpearce you win the internet today sir, bravo

Make them work with Drift and I'm in... its like the only one not compatible Frown
  • 3 2
how about a swivel mount so we dot have to use 50 adaptors to get 90 degrees of rotation huh? theres a free idea right there !
  • 11 0
Did you actually look at the mount or are you being sarcastic?
  • 4 0
G'day viatch, the camera arms have a built in 8-point indexer. So you can get 45 degree increments if you need them Smile
  • 1 0
Contour had made a (small) 360 degree swivel/rotation mount, thats only an inch wide.
  • 3 0
I dont understand how this would prevent my gopro to shake less?
  • 1 0
GoPro's gonna be really mad about this ! but i bet it's gonna sell better ! it's much more usefull and cheaper !
  • 2 1
The pictures of the GoPro on the helmet and fork are why I love my Contour.
  • 3 1
Side mounted helmet cams should be illegal...
  • 1 0
'Military grade strength' Ha, will likely break at the exact moment you need it.
  • 1 0
you can have a tld gopro under the visor its so easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 1 0
aaaaaaaaaaaand where can I get one.
  • 2 2
Been there. Done that....Go pro zip lines. ...helicopter drones. ...moving on

I like the concept. I want to see some real life observations!

  • 2 3
May not look as good but sure its better than taking a go pro to the brain look what happened to Schumacher
  • 1 0
Harsh statement, but a valid point! There would be a few justifiable reasons to support a break-away design.
  • 1 1
Go pro only I see.. Someone invent a chest mount for contour please!!!
