The local bike club, Appalachian Mountain Bike Club (AMBC) builds new trails every year and maintains over 80 miles of trails in the area, with over 50 miles of trails within 2 miles of downtown Knoxville. The club sports one of the highest memberships in all of America and promotes a great culture that has allowed the Knoxville cycling scene to grow exponentially.
