Day 2: Course is very tough. First day of practice went well. No falls and I knew my lines decently. I was still unsure if I would qualify or not though. I saw Gee Atherton and Aaron Gwin getting some practice in. All the pros are so fast. Did some other laps on the jumpline and what not.

Day 3: I met up with the other guys from the Launch Bike Park race team and did a few practice runs. On my 3rd run, I had 2 falls due to trying to avoid people in front of me stopping on the middle of the course. Cut my leg, arm, and hand up. I waited around for my qualifying start time and went for my run. I had a good run with only 1 mistake, but still didnt qualify. Im pretty disappointed but it was my first big race so it was expected. Ill do some more racing and training on and off the bike. Maybe next year. But I ended up doing the biggest drop Ive done so far after my run. It will be cool to watch the pros and my teammates race in the finals tomorrow.

Zachs Jawn: This is where Zach would write something, but he is too lazy. But we did find what he was looking for before...

Its easy, just don't brake at all. Do a small brake check though if you land on the bottom half of the covenant drop landing. We should go to Diablo to do some laps on the jump line, I love that trail.

Yeah that would be cool. Let me know the next time the PMBA guys head up for a day trip.

Which drop, covenant? If so, did you do the cannon as well?

Yeah the Covenant Red Bull drop. I went around the cannon everytime though. Something about it made me nervous.
