Point of game: Get rugby ball in opponents net.
Players: Each team consists of 7 players and 1 goalie.
1 a. A player cannot direct the ball in a forward or sideways motion. A pass has to be directed backwards unless in specific zone (see 2a.).
b. A player may not knock the ball forward. This is considered a knock-on.
c. When a player does not pass backwards or he creates a knock-on his team loses possession.
d. When a team loses possession. The opposing team gains possession where the other team lost possession.
2 a. A player MAY pass forward within the shooting zone. The neutral zone surrounds the goal.
b. If a player knocks-on the ball it is first to gain possession of the ball will continue to have possession.
c. This is the only area a team may shoot on the opposing net.
3 a. Each team may have a designated goalie.
b. The goalie is the only player that may pass the ball forward as long as he remains within his defending shooting zone.
c. The goalie may not leave his defending shooting zone.
4 a. Each player has a set of flags, when pulled the team will lose possession.
b. Each player has to have his flags hanging freely, if they are not, the other team may have a penalty shot at the referee`s discretion.(See 5a)
5 a. In result of a penalty the victim may have a penalty shot. A penalty shot is a free shot from the top of the opposing shooting zone.
b. If a player grabs the opposing team, it will result in a penalty shot.
c. If a player attempts to injure, it may result in a penalty shot, or at the referees discretion he may be ejected.
d. If a player trips the opposing team, it will result in a penalty shot.
