I am curious, though, on the difference in attitude between a 40-something who's been MTB'ing since a teenager vs. those like myself who took it up in their 40s. Mountain biking makes me feel like a kid, but maybe for the long-timers they are more aware of how much stronger/better/faster they used to be.
