Cypress is fast. More laps, more tokens, more pressure, and more pace. It’s a constant game of chase and a song of holler. You’re in the woods but you’ve caught the energy of the city below. You rush to get more laps, rush to keep up, to not get caught, you rush to find your rush. In the past, Cypress on a trail bike involved sacrifice—of speed, of stability and of your wrists.

But today is different. There’s no scream of the supercar on its Sunday drive. The snow creates a silence so complete there is no room for hoots and hollers. The line between trail bike and downhill bike feels more blurred than ever before. Strong, calm, and calculated is how I have always ridden a bike; a reflection of my personality, perhaps. Sometimes I wish I was more loose, more stylish or more wild. Maybe today things aren’t as different as I thought. I don’t miss my downhill bike because here I am strong, calm, and calculated. Today, I’m on my Process X and I’m not sacrificing a thing.

First off excellent riding and an excellent edit. Those are my locals and that was top notch. Well done. I’ve always wondered about bike brands and PB’s multipronged advertising strategy. Earlier in the week Kas does a full review on the new ProcessX and a couple days later a full shred video.

I won’t mention the trail names for fear of mass down votes and an online lynching but that definitely is the type of trail for that type of bike.....along with a talented pilot. From a loving 153 owner.

 Thanks!

Thank-you! These are some of my favourite trails and while I still love them on my DH bike, having the ability to pedal laps here and not fold in half on the way down...it's the best.

Miller Time! those hand guards are sweet.

Definitely cool hand guards. I gather the real "Miller Time" starts after the ride...

The other bonus is these hands guards are also beer holders

Beautiful vid. I love this short period of time with a very thin layer of thin snow. The grip is still there, but it looks like a proper winter. Was lucky to ride such conditions last fall, it was awesome. Especially that we tend to have some sunny days in winter Wink

Excellent riding, superb composition! That dark, ominous, slightly apocalyptic tone fit in well with the shots of the frozen forest

Such a solid confident style. It's hard to imagine her ever losing to anyone.

When ski season is on I’ve always wondered about the hardcore bikers I see on the way up to Cypress, turns out at least one of them is a world champion.

Also can I just say more videos should be shot in 21:9
That opening scene of Miranda just standing in the dark, snow-dusted woods, turning her head towards the camera - thats just perfect
