Night Riding Under The Full Moon - Video
Definitely a drone with a high-output light. It's a technique that's becoming popular.

Bike Standards—How Did We Get Here?—A Podcast
A massive, massive cash grab. The bicycle industry has begun to copy the electronics industry model in terms of forced obsolescence.

Giant Canada is Hiring: Could You be Our Next Warehouse Worker?
@Sshredder: That's awesome, I'm glad you're making it work. I made Vancouver and North Van work for 15 years (2001-2015), but got sick of spending $1600/month to live in someone's crappy basement. Thought I'd never leave, but I'm glad I did.

Giant Canada is Hiring: Could You be Our Next Warehouse Worker?
@AJ420: Nope ... put it this way, it would be a meagre existence and you wouldn't be living anywhere near Vancouver. Hell, people making good salaries can't even afford to live there.

2016 Winter Gear Review - Part One
@meagerdude: I'm well aware of how to layer, but virtually every one of these kits involves shorts which IMO are not winter cycling apparel. All I'm saying is there's a small pocket of riders who would dress this way for winter riding - you wouldn't be getting away with shorts in Alberta. I lived in Vancouver for 15 years and yes, shorts and light layers are fine on the north shore, but that place is a Canadian anomaly.

2016 Winter Gear Review - Part One
This is North Vancouver "winter" gear and/or perhaps other places in the PNW or California - only. You couldn't get away with this stuff in Squamish either - home to Pink Bike.

Continental Der Baron 2.4 Projekt Tire - Review
Bikes are getting a bit out of hand. When a top-spec all mountain bike is more expensive than a race-spec KTM moto-x bike (that's made in Austria - not China or Taiwan) - something is very wrong.

Continental Der Baron 2.4 Projekt Tire - Review
$82 at MEC, which makes them cheaper than any Maxxis tire I've ever bought.

Continental Der Baron 2.4 Projekt Tire - Review
Good - so it's not just me! Mine took forever to seal ... 3-4 rides and lots of stans. CO2 canisters strewn on the garage floor looked like shell casings (normally, I can use my floor pump to seat a Maxxis). I almost gave up on them, but glad I didn't. I'm sure it's probably my narrower rims combined with the beefy sidewall of this tire.

Continental Der Baron 2.4 Projekt Tire - Review
I tossed these on a few months ago and I'm really happy with them - lots of grip. Only negative was I had a horrendous time seating the tire bead, more specifically: getting them to seal. Came out to the garage on three occasions to find them flat. I've never had that issue with maxxis. They've been fine since I added about 2x the recommended amount of stans.
