Helmet Cam Comparison videos

Things are really heating up in the helmet cam market these days. Some of the big name electronics companies such as Sony and JVC have entered the race, GoPro recently announced the Hero3 camera and Contour have released the Contour+2 (Edit: Since filming this comparison Drift have also announced the new HD Ghost). With so much choice it can be hard to work out which camera is the right one for you. Most of the comparison videos you see on youtube are basic hand held or car mounted shots, so we thought we'd put together a real life comparison of the video and audio from four cameras on one of our local trails.

We mounted all four cameras on the same helmet to provide a direct comparison. The first video explains how the tests were done (and why) and the second and third videos show the results. Rather than draw conclusions we would love to hear what everyone thinks. Is there a clear winner? Does video quality matter that much to you or are you more concerned about the feature set?
