@Gooldylocks, yeah how 'bout that? Thumbs up for those noses Kelly. Nice job bruh. The whole vid surprised me with big fun lines & a mix of logs thrown in with those noses on top. Really nice surprise on this one.
"What his right name is I've never heard: but he's known round here as Strider."
Aragorn was 6'6" so Mcgarry is better suited for that role. and cmon just a f*cking cape and call it a hobbit, you should have done a strider fleeing the wring wraiths sort of thing that would be a serious nerdgasm!
Thats what I thought. Definitely Lacondeguy as Frodo....McGazza as Strider. Now just add Brosnan as Pippin, Hart as Merry and Strait as Sam Gamgee. All being chased by Gee dressed as Darth Vader. OK might be getting carried away here.
Do you know what's awesome about this video..... Everything!
Me and my missus were lucky enough to be in New Zealand at the start of the year, and although we only got in 5 days of riding, they were the best 5 days I have experienced on a bike. And we only scratched the surface of a few places (queenstown and rotarua).
All I can advise is, if your thinking of going there..... Stop thinking, start doing. The entire country is amazing!
I'll say it just cause no one else did. Shoes? Come on... Hobbits don't wear shoes. They should have made some large bare feet to wear over the riders shoes. Now that would have been rad!
Is New Zealand just takin over pinkbike??? New vids from the kiwis every day and Crankworx Roturua coming up...NZ looks like the place to be right now.
He has a point. The porn industry steals its themes from pop culture. Now bike bids are doing the same. How long before we see the combination of both?
Supertramp is far from a bike guy. Go spend some time on his youtube channel to see what poppy, mainstream, babes for views looks like. His videos are made for 13 year old girls, he just happened to feature a mountain biker in this one.
Eventually the video side of this industry will evolve as did the skate industry. Skate videos no longer need plots, goofy behind-the-scenes pieces and interviews. Eventually MTB vids will just be videos of riding, judged purely on skill, location and how well the riding was filmed. Nothing else.
Hell, you don't even see thread after thread discussing how lame or good the music choice was. Skate video makers literally choose appropriate music for their edit and the riding. Even if I don't like hip hop, it nevertheless fits the speed of guys going 6-7 mph to hit a handrail. While Slayer works perfectly for guys shredding bowls and parks at 30mph.
Sorry, my dork is showing.
"I'll catch up with you later dudes, just off to shred a few laps of Skyline...I mean, kill the Balrog! Yes, kill the Balrog."
