What Type of eMTB Should You Buy in 2023?
I'm thinking you know this, but if you can go ride an Ebike and empty the battery (or 2 of them like we do), and then tell us you didn't get a work out, then you might have some cred. At least be honest. It's a different workout. More balanced for your body and more fun for the mind (for me and my bros at least). Enjoy your ride!!

Video: MTB Fitness For Over 40s Riders
Getting burned in the PB comment section is a right of passage! Enjoy it. It's mostly from younger people who haven't a clue. Your advice is spot on. The ebike hate is both funny and sad for me. It's just jealousy, trolling and/or ignorance speaking. The world is becoming riddled with riders who were once haters and now have seen the light. Enjoy the ride people! However is fun for you. And save some more money so you can get an Ebike.

Ben, great video and 100% agree with all your advice. Especially incorporating weights in mini bite size chunks consistently as opposed to doing hard core max lifting. 59 years old, 32 year unassisted and 4 years exclusively Emtb. Minus the extreme cardio conditioning, I'm as fit and as light as I've ever been. I can see going hard into my 70's. I'm having more fun than ever right now.

Santa Cruz Bullit, XT coil, medium

$6050 USD
Putting my amazing 2022 Santa Cruz Bullit up for sale. Time for new blood. This has been an amazing Ebike. Completely capable of everything you want to throw at it. Iā€™m pricing it aggressively. $10,700 new, gotta get $6000 Details: -size medium 5ā€™6-5ā€™10 -new motor and wiring harnesses-0 miles -motor is brand new. It was replaced under warranty but it turned out to actually be a wiring harness that failed -630Wh battery with approx 40 charges on it. You get around 700 charges before you see degradation -fresh seals, and rebuilds on the fork and rear coil -recently bled brakes with good pads and rotors -full XT with fox 38 and Rock Shox coil rear shock -wheels and tires have some wear but are ready to shred with Cush Core -new grips and saddle -ridden for 1 year -mullet with 170mm front and rear travel -gloss lavender color is Awesome

@ashlemon: I've taken the Poison Spider alternative a few times in the last couple of seasons. Much longer, but amazing views and much less death defying. Great place to leave the shuttle vehicle if you are riding un-E-assisted.
