From the Top: David Turner
Did Dave really imply that someone should purchase one of his bikes to improve their image and up their trailhead credibility?

I was surprised to read his thoughts about people's images when they pull up to trailheads.

Santa Cruz Hightower LT - First Ride
@ukr77: so your friends who run the 160mm air spring on their Hightowers are completely unable to pedal them uphill because of the seat tube angle? Or, are they somehow able to tough it out and overcome?

Riding the All New Genius with Andrew Neethling and Rudy Biedermann - Video
@SonofBovril: to my understanding this bike is now a Horst Link design with a pivot on the chainstay close to the rear axle and an upper link that drives the rear shock. I see no lower link close to the BB like you would find on short-link floating pivot designs like; VPP, DW, Maestro, etc etc. Please set me straight on where the lower link is on this new Scott model.

Zuman, allow me to put your mind partially at ease. There is no "bottom link" on this suspension design...

Phil Atwill's Propain Rage Carbon - Bike Check
@Mattin: it is the job of UCI pro DH racers to show up race week, evaluate the track, practice, and on race day try to get safely down the track in the fastest time. That is the challenge. Complaining that you don't like the track is pointless. Wasting a practice run on your hardtail is pointless and borderline unprofessional. And people wonder why 95% of these guys struggle to make a living at it...
