I have the been immensely inspired over the last three years by the landscape and riding of the Cowichan Valley. I got in touch with two awesome local riders, Trevor Thew and Nic Rodgers to help create a piece that I hope makes you want to get out and ride.
I put together an in depth behind the scenes look at what it took to bring this project together over at Leftcoast.co
Great video guys and way to represent the Cowichan Valley. Love seeing all the trails we worked hard to build on Maple Mountain in the final half of your video. Everyone can follow our progress and learn more about our trail building and network on our facebook page for "Cowichan Trail Stewardship Society"
Nice! I started mountain biking when I lived in Victoria, but rarely explored other parts of the Island. Ironically, I've ridden around Duncan more since moving to the interior than I did when I was living 45 minutes away. There is so much great riding in that area, captured here very nicely on "film".
Fiveten Minaar SPD shoes:--------> the heaviest shoes in mtb history, lmao when someone cares so much about his bike's weight and than ride with THESE shoes
