It was great today. Happy to take the overall this year. The track was challenging in some sections, loose and fun. I enjoy the national events because they are a chill and an excellent environment. They are different from World Cups, but it's still a good time. It's still racing and always challenging. Jill Kintner |
Downhill was a lot fun today. It was enjoyable to get back on the downhill bike again. Had to wipe off some of the cobwebs, but it great racing and hanging out with all of these dudes again. Mitch Ropelato |
It was cool to be at all of the ProGRT's and support the series this year, but most of all it's been awesome to see the level of riding being raised. There is a good crop of fast juniors and elite riders with a lot of potential creating a competitive race series here in the U.S. With Jill and I sitting in as athlete representatives, the goal was to help build a platform for up and coming riders actually get to the World Cup level and be competitive. The reason it is, where it is right now is largely because of Chris Herndon and also Micah Rice at USA Cycling, obviously the individual event organizers too for putting up with the strict guidelines of the UCI...Not an easy deal by any means. Anyway, it all seems to be somewhat headed in the right direction and hopefully it will continue to grow as U.S. racing was how I got my foot in the door for a career as a pro MTB'r... 14 years ago.Bryn Atkinson |

Why do you have to make comments like that, I'm sorry but your acting like a child if you have to insult others.
Using insults to reply to insults just puts you on the same level as them.
Mentioned on last pro grt mammoth kamikaze video article.
If you have that big of a problem with how a sponsor operates, don't support the sponsor. If you really care that much about women rights, you wouldn't be focusing on such a trivial thing but instead paying attention on real issues impacting countless women. Complaining about girls in skirts handing out trophies at a couple mtb events doesn't make you anything but a bored person looking for something to complain about.
