Day 2: Speed and Style - Kamikaze Bike Games

Riders getting ready to drop in for COLDCOCK Speed & Style practice.
Ty Callais boosting the step down during morning practice.
Everyone hanging out before Speed & Style qualifiers.
Alex Reveles and Ty Callais dropping in for qualifying. Alex would qualify 2nd.
Alex Reveles looking fast and comfortable. It was great to see Alex stop by on his way out to Rampage.
Greg Watts and Dusty Wygle are the first to drop in. Watts was blazing fast out, qualifying 1st. 4 seconds faster than 2nd place.
Devin Kjaer and Alex Reveles were some of the fastest riders in Speed & Style.
Even though Devin is a racer, he could still ride a bike. Devin qualified 4th.

Santa Cruz riders, Simon Silver and Max Kauert battling it out. Simon would advance to the next round.
Greg Watts was fast today, but ran into some bad luck washing out in a turn.
Josh holt with a big tail whip. Holt will advance to the finals to face Alex Reveles.
And then there were four. Dusty Wygle, Josh Holt, Simon Silver, and Alex Reveles heading up to the hill for their final run.
Simon Silver stays consistent in the small finals against Dusty Wygle.
Alex Reveles can even make a one hander look good.
Alex Reveles throwing a steezy 360 on Heat 1 of the finals. Josh Holt had an off the bike moment, but wasn't too far behind Alex.
Simon Silver and Dusty Wygle battling for 3rd and 4th place. It was exciting to see Dusty get faster and faster each run.
Dusty on his way to 3rd place. Not bad for someone who doesn't compete.
Josh Holt throws a double tailwhip. He knew he had to pull a big trick to make up the time differential against Alex Reveles.
Josh was pretty excited to take home the win today. He fought his way from the LCQ to the top of the podium. Expect to see some big tricks from holt at Best Trick.

Used to race the NORBA Nationals there way back in the day. I won the sport XC race in the 19-24 class and still have the sweater that they gave a rider for winning a category. Was so stoked that weekend. That was forever ago but Mammoth resort still looks the same!

Looks like Mr. Alex Reveles is riding some new version of the GT Distortion! I have my interest very piqued! Any more details on that thing! Also, that mongoose looks strangely like a Corsair!
