Video: Geoff Gulevich, Eric Lawrenuk & Crew Ride the North Shore Triple Crown

by Eric Lawrenuk

The North Shore Triple Crown is nothing new. Starting at the water in Deep Cove, we pedal to the very top trails of Seymour, Fromme, and Cypress. 74km in distance, 2800m of elevation gain, and 8 hours of moving time, makes this one hell of a ride. Come along for the suffer-fest with our crew: Eric Lawrenuk, Geoff Gulevich, Ross Measures, Fraser Vaage, Ryan Vanderham, Scott Mackay, Sam Honcharuk, and Taylor Booth.

Oh god that must have been brutal! We got insanely lucky with our weather... was supposed to rain and we ended up getting sun and clouds!

There is no way I could do that. And I would probably start with Sagar versus finish with it. That trail is a big ask after 7h of riding

I think that would mess up the logistics a bit and add to the overall length of the trip (assuming you are starting from Horseshoe Bay).

There's sooooo many different lines on Sagar. I've probably ridden it at least a dozen times yet I don't think I've ever taken exactly the same combo of lines twice.

I personally find it a fairly easy trail assuming you don't actively look out for the harder stuff! (Easier said than done when you're not paying attention to lines at the end of a long day...)
