Field Test: Giant Trance Advanced 29
@raditude: I had PFbb on several bikes (all Giants) and they did not make a sound ever over many years of abuse, racing, powerwashing, bikeparks etc. I do have threaded BB on my new bike and after two weeks it already started creaking so I hade to disasemble it clean it lube it and put it back together. And it happened again after 2 more months so whenever I hear QQ about PF vs Threaded BBs I call BS.

Field Test: Santa Cruz Bronson
@atrokz: Let me rephrase, I don't bash Kashima in itself. What I wanted to communicate is that even FOX technicians themselves admit that the friction on black stanchions is as "good" as their shiny golden counterparts.

Tested: 5 Ways to Hold a Tube on Your Frame
I bought two straps that look EXACTLY the same as those OneUP from nearby skiing shop (they use them in backckountry to y'know strap things on..) for less than half the price.

Sorry to burst your bubbles but Kashima is just marketing. The black stanchions work exactly the same and the adjusters are the same as well. Stop drinking the FOX KoolAid and get a proper suspension that wont stop working when you sneeze at it. BTW this week I was told by official FOX mechanic from the distributing company here that it is too cold outside and that LockOut on the FOX 32 SC Factory may be a bit sluggish, the owner should ride when it is warmer. Mind you it was around +10°C.. FOX customer support and service is a joke and super lame one really..

Cane Creek Lowers Price on Helm Fork
Funny you mention car industry. I just purchased rear carbon spoiler for my BMW. It is essentially a piece of flat carbon with zero structural stiffness and it only needs to fit the car and look good. It cost 4 times as much as top notch carbon handlebar where I can see way more RnD for it to be stiff, compliant etc etc.. I find it hilarious and will never complain about carbon for bicycles being expensive..:D

First Look: Trust Performance's $2,700 Carbon Fiber Linkage Fork
So my question is How is the smallbump sensitivity with 200psi in each leg and double the seals? Leverage ratio may take care of it and I hope it does. Bring on the first ride review!
