 I was wondering when his banger season edit was going to happen as well. This is the future of big mountain/freeride. I cannot wait to see what he does in the next few years.

 @theronsta: I get people gotta start somewhere, but mongoose tanked in 1999 with the Schwinn buyout/bankruptcy and following purchase to China garbage... Not a single bmx mongoose athlete even rides a mongoose frame, just stickers on better product. DJ just deserves better and I’m glad he’s moving on to new things.

 @PaulLehr: I was gonna defend Mongoose as a decent economy brand, but I looked at their site and their "all-mountain" Teocali Expert looks like a 2014 Giant Trance, has 2X10 SLX, X-Fusion suspension, and retails for $2900. WTH???

 @PaulLehr: dude get off your high horse if you have been around the industry so much why haven't you just accepted that all the frames come from the same 5 factories. The bikes sold at walmart are not the same as what dj or there pros ride! Even if they were selling the bootr at Walmart I would be stoked that means more accessibility to fill the trails and keep our sport growing and alive!!! Mtb doesn't have to be for elitest weight weannie and the tech junkie who doesn't even ride!!!!

 @cliff-huckstable: Nah , Paul is just trying to defend a great rider that is no longer riding for a crap company. No need to try to make it into something it isn't for drama's sake. Plus Paul sends it himself and is one of the best mechanics around.

 @underhawk: i said their product is crap, i have zero idea or assumption how the company is run and have a few friends on the GT/cannondale side of things. When you've been around as long as i have and seen the ups and downs of the industry and learn what's quality and what's not, i can have an opinion. But this is the internet and everyone's a little bitch nowadays.

Yet everyone here seems to be on mongoose’s dick today. FYI my first MTB was a 1995 mongoose sycamore, back when they were a legit company. f*ck Mongoose was even portrayed as the evil big company in RAD! Sorry my opinion isn’t yours. Jackass.
