Poll: Does Your Trail Bike Have a Weight Problem?
Do you save bike weight by putting stuff in your backpack or your pockets? -> If no most riders might consider including water bottle with water (600g), light bike tool (143g), light pump (90g) and light spare tube (142g) -> around +1kg (2,2 pound). My 29" Orbea Rallon including this and Maxxis Minion DoubleDown F+R -> 15,0kg (33 pounds).

Review: Syntace's Smart-Map Gripper & Lupine's Piko Lighting Combo
This system seems interesting but I dislike the phone position (they probably put it there so you can put your bike upside down without laying it on the phone?). I used the Cobi Bike system as a phone (iphone 6s 800€) mount for Enduro / Downhill. You can see it in action here . It's much more expensive (250€) then this Syntace system but it includes exchangable battery packs. The system + phone survived multiple/all crashes and I never lost the phone (big drops / stone fields etc.). I'm currently not using the Cobi mount because I hate changing my smartphone case (I have a thick battery case) every time I want to use it... . I personally mount my Lupine Piko (best lamp ever) on the helmet like you could see here

Video: Gamble Film - Available Now
We just watched it. Fantastic riding and locations. We are generally very disappointed of the editor(s) of this movie: Good: + Locations + Riders + Amount of Story + Length + Equipment + All your drone clips are awesome + Digital Download + Price (bought it on Vimeo) Bad: - Extrem amount of cuts between kind of random clips or not showing a clip long enough (you feel like they wanted to include every clip they ever filmed. to achieve that they cut insanely fast between good clips, bad clips and complete garbage) - Camera work (Only the most obvious ones that are used very often and are very annoying: 1. Generally far to close on the rider+bike resulting in riding out of the screen. 2. Zooming into something. 3. Moving the camera too fast.) Conclusion: This movie could've been so much better! You filmed so much, that there are many good clips and many bad ones. Please rerelease this movie edited better.

Winning Bike Check: Richie Rude's Yeti SB5.5 - EWS Olargues, France 2018
Please specify which "Ergon Grips". Seems to use the Ergon GA2 grips (All Mountain Series) with some gaps cut in them? Interesting that even he is not using their GE1 (Enduro Grips Series). I tested both as well and felt that the GE1 are much slipperier than the GA2.
