bigquotesAt the start of 2013, the UK had one of its worse winters in history, and being a bricklayer this was not good. Having fallen in love with downhill only two months prior, I set about figuring out what I would be able to do in the mountain bike industry. Fortunately, my wife Joana is Portuguese and grew up in central Portugal in a quiet town called Lousa. Such a beautiful town, but what really stands out about this quiet mountain town is the amazing downhill tracks and all-mountain trails they have. Having visited Lousa in February 2013, I instantly knew this could be the start of something great. We sold our house in the UK and moved to Lousa at the end of November 2013 getting things ready for the business to go live in January 2014. - Brett Wheeler

In the basement there is a safe and secure place to store the bikes and a small workshop where everybody can work on their bikes if needed.

The lads really enjoyed the trails they are great fun to do big long trains to the bottom of the mountain knowing your uplift driver will be there waiting with a grin.

Prices aren't nearly what I was expecting. This looks like an awesome value. Now I just need a DH bike and some skills.

Is there anywhere local to rent bikes? Would make it a lot easier for me, as I hate checking in baggage and don't own a DH sled.

Thank you for such a nice comment. Unfortunatly we dont hire out bikes yet and we have not found no where locally. But we are not just dh. You can ride enduro and AM bikes as well and have just as much fun

There are tracks there that will test every level of rider from novices to full on world cup riders guaranteed.......And the wheelers are amazing hosts with a sorted guided shuttle service with local rider and top mechanic support.........get out there.
