Throwback Thursday: Peaty's 2005 Fort William World Cup Win - Video
ill always remember this year, i was at sea otter with my buds, and we were watching the mtn-x, steve peat was lining up at the start in his bumble bee kit, and i yelled "steve peat you're my hero!!!". and then, he nodded at me! ill always remember that!

What Are Your MTB Pet Peeves? - Opinion
@preston67: i feel you in that case, im spoiled with rippin fast trails right up the hill from my home, but if you have to drive no matter the destination to go ride trails, you should totally make it more worthwhile and ride new stuff! theres more new trail all the time now, even where i live i haven't ridden everything, its so awesome the amount of legit building these days!

What Are Your MTB Pet Peeves? - Opinion
sometimes you just need to pedal from home and leave the car out of the equation mate, im guilty of riding the same shit hundreds of times, but the same trails dont get boring for me trying to push it for more speed, so its just about what motivates you as a rider. i wish i rode more new trails, sure, its just not a priority as much as frequency and time on the bike

am i the only one who wishes for an affordable drivetrain alternative to the derailleur? guess bending my new gx eagle in the first two weeks of owning my new bike doesnt help, but theyre so vulnerable if youre shredding fast it seems destined to get knocked out of whack quite easily.

Remembering Stevie Smith, 1989-2016
stevie smith's story to success and his mothers amazing support were things i always found to be very rare and inspiring in mountain biking. the people with the biggest opportunities for pro careers typically have no shortage of financial , or personal support. steve beat the odds and became a legend. i had a #longlivechainsaw sticker on my old specialized, and now have one on my new devinci. i still can't believe he's gone :'( NSMB.COM : STICKER PACKS ARE $10CAN AND PROCEEDS GO TO HIS LEGACY FUND, BUY THEM.

Getting Air Again, Against All Odds - Video
*tears* so moving and inspiring, i still ride and push myself for people like this, my best friend almost lost his life last year due to an AVM stroke. He may not be able to ride with me now, but he has the same determined spirit Lindsey has. That strength is so incredible to me, i have to be so grateful for my physical health, and live for them as they would most certainly be doing if the unthinkable did not happen
