2wheels1love Jamaica tours 2015

[PI= size=l0 align=c][/PI]All guided tours will be tailored to the need of the riders. Some may be wanting a single day away from everything while staying at a resort while others may want the total experience living away from the Hotels and Resorts in the jungles of the lush north west coast at 2W1L HQ2 or at my home base at 2W1L HQ Negril.

NEGRIL
THE BLUE WATA HOG TRAIL
A 13 mile loop on the south coast to the Blue Mineral Hole mostly on corral sandy single track with some options. Lunch and entrance to the Blue Hole included. It can be done as a relaxed novice ocean single track or you can ride a mid to long advanced various XC loops that includes a lunch stop at the Blue Hole. Advanced includes the infamous "Jimmy Jackson's Duppy" trail.
REDGROUND AND ORANGE HILL
Freshly cut trails are now ridable that include some DH sections from the highest locations that overlooks the west end of the island. The Great House is my main trailhead that has 3 nice sections that connect and eventually end at the 7 mile beach.
All tours in Negril leave from 2W1L HQ and include adventures to and from the trailheads that use the worst roads available up to Redground, Orange Hill and Hog Heaven[JJ's Duppy] or directly from the front gate to bush singletrack.
ROBIN'S BAY
There are sweet trails with deserted beaches and some rare waterfalls that include ridiculously beautiful climbs with ridge rides overlooking the ocean. 3 full days of riding adventures or longer if you desire. I like using this 2W1L HQ as a stop over on the way to and from the John Crow/ Blue Mountains for week plus excursions. Lodgings are eco in nature and it is here where the best fruit, veg and fish amid rare natural surroundings seem to be.
BLUE MTNS.
This Jan-Feb 2015...I will be taking a few trips to the peak. This is a once is a lifetime experience for anyone by foot never mind on a mountain bike. Being at the top is indescribable as one is awed by it's beauty. There is an arduous trip to the trailhead at 4200' of terribly eroded dangerously nasty road for the last few miles after leaving Hagley Gap. On the way back I choose to ride the road back as it is littered with rain run off jumps and weird turns. From the trailhead there is a choice of staying at Jah B's[power and comfort] or Whitfield Hall[no power old school coffee farm]. From Whitfield Hall it is a 6 & 1/2 push to the peak that features over 250 switchbacks. It takes roughly 4 hours to ride/push to the peak at 7,402'. Truly epic. Descent is quick to the trailhead and can continue down to Kingston shuttling via other trails. Two-three days is a reasonable time as sometimes we are rained out as it is cold up there and if it's wet is can get nasty.[PI= size=l0 align=c][/PI]
ELFIN GROWTH

>>>>>>>>Feb 1- Feb 21 Full Week Long Adventure tours<<<<<<<<
Starting in Negril we will settle in for a few days of JAMBA roots and 2W1L trails. Then we are off to Robin's Bay for a few days of lush jungle riding. Then we are taking it uphill. The John Crow & Blue Mountain peak is 7,402', the highest point in Jamaica and we will be riding it. These adventure tours will be shaped on the groups time demands and will be able to accommodate everyones needs by adding or subtracting arrival/departure riding days. Our driver will pick you up in Montego Bay and the rest taken care of. Riders will be able to join the group if they are only interested in a few days as we realize a lot of people are on vacation with families or other affairs.
The first week of February features the amazing Bob Marley Bashment at MX111 in downtown Negril on the 6th his birthday. This is a post party after riding the longest Negril loop available right now. After a 7 mile warm up on the south coast we ride JJ's Duppy. Truly one of the most scenic rides I have had in and around Negril that comes back home via a refresher at Alfreds Seaside Palace on the 7 mile beach. A magical time to be in Jamaica. Planning on 8 or more days is my suggestion.

Excursions to secret trails are available. The idea is to experience the real Jamaicans in an inexpensive but quality lifestyle including natural foods and eco lodgings.
This is my start and trailblazing will be my future for a while. By Jan 2015 I will have a full 5 kilo course over the highest section of Good Hope while the Redground DH's will be complete with padding and markers........and more....cutting....grooming....it will never end.

soon come.............2wheels1love sox back from the dead along with the Negril trails.
