Big Mountain Enduro Announces 2024 National DH Series
@foggnm: the large fault in your logic is that a downhill race enables/encourages/is setup to ride one track for the whole weekend, as many times as practice allows, and dial in the lines as far as possible. Even if the enduro is at a bike park and reduces long pedaling on a few stages, the amount of stages and time at venue means the riders realistically only get a run, maybe two, on any given stage. If you rode any stage more than that you’d have a 4/5+ hour day of pedaling and riding the day before a race. While dh and enduro have evolved to become closer than they were 5-10 years ago, saying the only difference is the bike is misguided

I would disagree, I see folks in fox helmets and pads with no matching kit alot. This maybe true in the trail riding half shell world, but DH/full face doesnt seem to agree with that.
