@GorgesIthacan: Maxxis Minion SS with DH casing worked perfectly. Hookworm or Speedster would fail big time in front, maybe as a rear option. I am also not sure how these tires would perform on stairs and strair gaps. You still need to have side knobs as dirt sections are part of many tracks, not here in Manizales though.

Man my frame broke down a month ago. This makes me go and buy a new bike before new frame comes back. I've been to Kamloops, but even Wrangler was too much for me. Maybe next time.

Whistler Blackcomb Replacing Fitzsimmons Express Lift in 2023, Some Rolling Trail Closures Expected
@Stuartkbmx: I had similar experience with the Sun Peaks. No lines, new trails, much less brake bumps (except Canada Line). It was so much fun. Tickets were slightly cheaper. Best to buy in advance online. We decided to go there two days instead of one as we knew that lift lines would be much longer in Whistler this year.
We also rode Upper Mountain in Whistler more than we would normally. Blue Velvet was one time thing due to breaking bumps. Part of the Freight Train was closed, but it was the best option anyway. In the end we end up riding Fitz area just because the trails were so much better - e.g. Dirt Merchant to A-Line.
Overall we did a long 3-week trip in the BC - so many locations. We plan to go back hopefully soon, but it seems that we will probably wait one more year due to next phase of replacements.
