11 Things I Loved in 2023 - Alicia Leggett
For any of us who have ridden MTBs long enough, or just lived long enough, it is fair to assume there were pauses for different reasons. Work, school, family, injury, and psych all play into the equation. As an "elderly" mountainbiker who started before most Pinkbikers were born I find your year end wrap up particularly relevant and touching. After 40 years of reading about the newest gear, advances in technology, or wheel size I believe it is what you do off the bike that defines you. We all love bikes or we wouldn't be here. So thanks for sharing your particular journey.

Video: Friday Fails #297
Im working on my next crash video. As the bystander/photographer is it best to chime in with "are you OK"? or just an "Ooooo". Or is it even better to curse in Polish? Also, what are thoughts on timing of the audio? I lean towards the "Are you OK"? and with practice I have been able to blurt it out before the rider comes to a halt.

What to Carry to Fix Most Things On Your Bike in the Smallest Toolkit Possible
Lezine MTB mini floor pump kicks that One Up's a** if you actually use it. No Co2 necessary, pumps up tires all day long if needed. Makes a good weapon when the burrito babies attack.

Video: Behind The Scenes of Remy Metailler's INSANE POV
Remy does a great job conveying the skill and joy of MTB. I don't care what he does, he's actually out there doing it, not just commenting on what others do. I watch everything he does because he rocks! Go Remi!!

The Industrial Re-Revolution: How Kitsbow Is Helping to Usher in a New Era of American Manufacturing
I really want to love Kitsbow and I appreciate their ethic and ideas. My only beef is with the fit of their products. I have shelled out for two items and as a 5'9" 170lb man I feel like sausage when I put them on. While the gear looks casual, it is made for tall skinny folks. I think there would be a market for sweet MTB gear that also fits the average rider. If you really love your employees, make some shit that would actually fit them.
