We know that we've been lacking a little when it comes to reviewing street, dirt and slopestyle products, and we thought we better do something about it.  they are expensive, especially if their wearing out after a week

 take into consideration that matt mcduff rides way harder and probably more than you so they probably dont wear out as fast for a normal rider

 why have I been neg propped so much can you not see how Cliff-E's comment is a wind up? I have taken in to "consideration" that Matt Macduff is way better than me but if they only lasted him a week and cost $140 then that's not very good

 Everyone forgets that they always post the retail price on pb, im seeing $95 on competitive cyclist, which still might be expensive for some but it aint $140. I can buy 3 pairs of vans on sale for the price of one of these so i will stick with skate shoes for now.

 I've been rocking the Jackets for over a year and they are barely worn. I dont ride as much as mcduff, and probably neither do you!

Shoes are the bomb! Naming a shoe "jacket" is just weird.

 Real street riders wear $20 dollar cheap skate shoes that they throw away after two months, (then the sole is always fresh and grippy).

 i spend about 100$ on half cab pro's every 3-4 months, ride brakeless and ride street A LOT. though i tend to wear out front tires more because freecoaster and sliders....

 I have these shoes... so I was impressed by the honesty of his review.

Brand new- super comfortable, super grippy

Month old- they get 10% more comfortable, and 30% less grippy.

If you want durability, get teva the links or 5 10 freeriders. These dont hold up to everyday riding

 Hahaha dude this is the sickest review I've ever seen, and it's actually very comprehensive. Loved the water bottle test and got so weak to the bananas flying off on his 3whip.

 Sticky rubber wears out faster...but a week is crazy. 5.10 wears fairly quick also, but not a week. I've had Vibram soles and had similar wear patterns. I think it is the combination of the deep grooves with the soft rubber. Thanks for the entertaining and honest review.

 I wear a set of 5.10's every day for about two years. On and off the bike. They are done by then, but the rubber is still ok by the end.

 Awesome shoes. Too bad they started to fall apart way, way too soon, and the soles shredded themselves. Because I really like them. (they're especially good for those of us who thing 5.10s are just a bit TOO grippy).

Also, sweet review format. Real life.
