 Its your internet, my was like 720p. Make sure you're not downloading other crap when you start the video and that should help a bit.

 well I can watch most other video players in HD with no problems but this one woks fine for 1 min then goes to shit then works for 10 seconds then goes to shit..

 specializedrider219: you just don't get it. She even congrats Emmeline in the video. But there's a reason those riders are mentioned in the news while we only appear in the comments: because they are devoted racers, they go through all kinds of struggles, risks and pain to win - and more than anywhere else in front of their home crowd, their families. And if you know you have the abilities, but on that day, again, you didn't make it to that top spot you are so heavily seeking for e.g. because you got the risk-to-safety-weighting wrong, you are upset with yourself / sad.

Congrats to Rachel, you get faster and hotter every year ;-)

 She said herself it was one of the hardest tracks of the year as well as one of the biggest ones. any other racer would give anything to make it on the podium. She should be stoked with a 2nd place victory and should use that motivation to maybe do even better in the next race

 She's right to be upset for coming second... if your a professional racer there i only one acceptable finishing spot... FIRST!!! As it happens, she won the series overall so I think that should go to prove her class.... Keep it up Rachel!!!

 It's getting a little old to me, and it seems like someone is always inured, usually Rachael, and Gee is always pissed about not being able to win races anymore, cause of Gwin. Or maybe he just has a pissed personality cause he's a Brit, and all the rain there all the time ruins there mood. Peaty is such a rarity in that respect. They need to spice it up and get some more drama, like real reality TV shows. Create some fights, maybe have Dan and Gee go to blows arguing about how a backyard jump should be built. Or how about if Dan attempted a 4X comeback and everyone else got worried and tried to talk him out of it, that might make a good show. Maybe Rachael could start drinking alot of booze cause shes depressed about her injuries and spotty results. She could get all drunk and threaten to quit and move to London and the boys would be all concerned. I don't know, I'm no producer, but those are just some ideas. Spice it up a little, the show is always so serious...it could use some drama. I'd also like to see some interviews where they talk shit about other racers, or even each other...would probably do wonders for the ratings!

 i remember all of the mountains they showed and everything about it! it was my first time at fort William and it wont be my last. i recommend everybody that can go should go. the atmosphere is amazing and so chilled... so get your ass down there for 2013....

 What are you talking about Blinddude? I didn't diss anyone, I just presented some fresh ideas for an otherwise stale show. I like Rachael, shes a great racer and person. I even met her once and she took a liking to me. But it's a fact that she's been injured and had some inconsistent results. I don't even know if she drinks, but most DH racers do. I bet she's pretty
entertaining after a couple drinks is all I was implying, and the show could use some creative drama.

Heres another idea I thought of, what if they all went on a roadie training ride and Gee almost gets hit by some A-hole driver and they get into a roadside altercation? Then he swears he will never ride a roadie bike again, hes sticking to the dirt. I would like that episode, since it happened to me.

Or how about if Rachael got a boyfriend at the house, and the brothers got angry about them making so much noise at night, that might be a good episode, right?

And the reason gee and rach are always upset is because they know they can win, and when you are so close every time being just off, knowing the mistakes you made in you're run you would have every right to be upset.... Gee, Dan, and rach are super chill and fun to be around.

 I just hope you go to hell Protour, or at least your humor should do so. I know exactly how it feels to be second if you know you could win, but it seems to me that you spend to much time pissing people off on the internet instead of going out, do some serious riding and get kind of an idea what racing is about. By the way world cup riders get some cash for their result so I think at least this should explain to your why they get pissed because they don't win, I mean you're a human and every human would be pissed if they miss the chance of making money, yes even you should be able to understand this fact. Just stop talking rubbish about british people, every races would be pissed and by the way, I know a couple of brits and I've spent some time there, they are actually much friendlier than a lot of other people in the world. I forgive you all for your hateful comments, and I never said anything hateful bout nobody and I like the brits, partied with some in Whistler recently. I was making jokes to them about the rain over there and they were laughing, guess it goes over differently on the internet.

 Protour - what the hell man - you are suggesting they script in some fights to their lives for your entertainment and start drinking. I think these films are an attempt to tell a story about the lives of pro racers and give people an insight into what it takes to be a racer and the highs and lows they experience. This series is a different cut than the old Atherton Project, which I loved as well. I am not sure you can call a series about peoples lives "stale" - you wanted drama in the lives of people who have shopwn you on screen the raw heart brake of losing races due to mechanicals, a broken neck, a car accident that left Rachel injured for an entire season.

I am sorry man you are just f*cking brain dead if you think they should throw in some fake drama on top of that to entertain your brain dead little mind. You are a disgrace to your country, species and sport.

 I also forgive you guys for your hateful comments. where do I get the strength to do this, you might ask? My faith; let me tell you "my story."

I was inspired by Gwin crediting his domination to his belief in God, so I went to couch one time on a hot day and got baptized. Man did that cool water feel good and I emerged a born-again Christian, just like a fresh, sin-free baby out of it's mothers womb. What's the motivation? Eternal life, man! What's gonna happen to all you haters when you die? I won't judge, but so far it looks grim. I still sin, I still smoke and drink, but Jesus is
there for me when i fall...Just gotta ask for forgiveness & believe in the man above, like Gwin and all the MX racers do.

Id like to see Gwin and Sick Mick have a frank conversation with Gee about his lack of faith, that would really be a good episode...then Gee might start wining again.

 Are you sure you haven't felt any religious inspiration in the last few hours? Even if you haven't, I'll bet Gee has, he was at the heart of my prayers.

The British didn't do so well at their own Olympics, no medals for, etc..., but I prayed for things to turn around at the final World Cup round, don't be surprised if Bren-Dawg is on the podium after being pissed on by his own federation regarding World's selection. Keep an eye on his Twitter account, there might be a direct correlation between his spirituality level and his podium ascension. I prayed for him too....I usually don't pray this much, I'm exhausted, and God is probably tired of hearing all these MTB DH requests also. Peace out, brothers & sisters, may God speed be with you!

 Britain did better in their own Olympics then Canada did in their own winter ( rain ) Olympics! The one year it decided to not snow on the local mountains was the one year it really mattered. You know it's bad when you're driving down the freeway and there is dump trucks full of snow heading to Vancouver.

 More rain and less snow....yes, that will happen with global warming. Things will only get hotter and progressively worse, then all of the other wonderful species will start to die off as the planet melts and burns. The human race will eventually have it's "come to jesus" moment, but religion or changing our destructive ways will not be the answer, there will be no answer because it will be too late, I'm afraid. Todays youth don't seem interested in fighting for their own future, they just want to burn more fossil fuels when they should be fighting for wind farms and radical change.

Time for another bike ride...enjoy yours.

 Well, the series and the products are Atherton stuff, not Atherton Racing which is the team. He's under the Atherton Racing-GT team, but he's not a member of the Atherton family, and Clay's series are about the Athertons. And the logo I guess they just have had it like that for long and it's not changing. Plus since Dan is racing enduro, the two guys and a girl logo still applies perfect to the DH team.

 Sure he's part of their team, but its called Atherton Racing not Team GT. Its about the amazing 3 siblings that have all risen to the top of mtn biking regardless of anything else.

 Atherton racing is more a brand than a team and is now a part of the GT factory racing team, Marc is part of the GT team but not Atherton racing, i think.

 He's part of Atherton Racing, the team (just check athertonracing.co.uk and you'll see Marc's there as one more), but he's not part of the family. And the film focuses on the family, not the team per se.

 Their official world cup team name is GT Factory Racing, not Atherton Racing. Marc is a part of that team, whereas the Athertons have atherton racing which is the name they use to sell their t-shirts etc

 Awesome concept, awesome execution! I think this just brought the world cup team film to a new level. Rachel is a great ambassador for mountain biking in general, not just for the women. A fantastic representation of the down-to-earth attitude that is prevalent across pretty much every aspect of mountain biking. Keep it up Rach and good luck in Hafjell.

 This is amazing. Have wanted to go to Ft William practically forever for the Scottish Six Day Trial, now seeing it in high def....WOW! And Rachel is the best. How can you not want her to succeed.

 kudos to Clay and his team for this series. The Atherton Project was awesome in its own right, but just after 1 episode, I think Four by Three will be better. Great job. And the Athertons themselves seem like a great family to follow for such a series. Can't wait for the other 3 episodes.
