Sequence Saturday: Big Enduro Crash

 If you looked geez , the track is taped. Tape won't do fuck all to stop gravity or momentum. I think you might have meant netting. You don't have any choice where the you're going to land if your not expecting it.

 @betsie, I've never done an enduro that didn't have track taping, marshall numbers, medical cover locations etc, it's completely standard. It's pretty much the only way it can work tbh.

Hazard signs are less useful for us, it's more like downhill than XC in that regard- XC has to deal with unpracticed laps and roadies-on-knobblies, enduro is generally practiced and when it's not the riders should be capable of dealing with the terrain. (some races do try to add hazard signs, it's not generally very useful, especially since everyone has different skillsets so what's a hazard for you may be nothing for the next guy- and vice versa. So you ride a section, see there's no sign, assume it's easy then it's not because it does something you're less good at. Or someone else sees a sign, slows for a "hard bit" and it turns out to be just a bit of muddy steep)

Tweedlove enduro had excellent signs "Woo scary rock!" and I think the other one was "Crazy fallen tree feature"

 I think there should be a scrub sign if you would boost it and fall into a crevice.

 You don't have to tape an enduro with continously tape from top to bottom, signage, etc. Etc. Trust me. I have raced enduro and I tape dh race tracks. The is stuff in an enduro track tamest would never get past a Dh chief com on track sign off. There is lots of stuff on a wc dh track that would not get past one of bc chief coms. Trust me. I know.

 @duzzi, I guess you don't like the Friday/Monthly fails vids either then? Plenty of life threatening crashes there too. At least we know the guy got back on his bike and completed his run.

 Cuz you're not really wearing full downhill gear so it hurts more.
