Former DH world champion Fabien Barel has a new project for 2012: he's traveling the world to meet up with his riding bros, some of the greatest riders around. Fab's mission? To get a glimpse at what life is like at home and on dirt where these guys roam. You could say that the terrain makes the rider, and this film project is a case study in the dirt that shapes these guys's lives.
First up is Cam Zink outside of Reno, Nevada. Who would have thought that the riding there is so killer? Fab checks out Cam's homestead, complete with a dirt jump set in the back yard and dry ribbons of trail not much farther afield. Most importantly, Cam's sense of personality comes through, with a chill household and an even chiller canine companion.
Not many riders have dogs that can stand in for riding buddies, but Cam Zink does. Check it out to see what else makes his life in Nevada unique, and how it influences his personality and style.

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like Cam took him by the Little Nugget downtown for an Awful-Awful! Can't have an authentic tour of Reno without hitting that place.
Fabien's English is good, his ridings not bad either ,i'm,driving down to Marseille then Garda in July, any good spots you could suggest ?
He will go bigger than cam and fabien when he does it.
Double doggy flip or something.
He just has th big booter for working on tricks, but there's hundreds of jumps just 5mins from his house, so why build a lot in your yard when you can live so close to an already well established spot?
Doesnt need to be greedy and is living pretty large anyway.
'Im just going to do some backflips in my garden'. Not many people can say that I dont even have a garden!
Anyone that lives in the Reno-Tahoe are spends time riding in California + Nevada. Too much good stuff up that way.
Cheers from México
