So here it is, April 15, 2014, and time to get the new riding season underway. Some have been on the pedals for months already. Others in the high country are still waiting for the snow to melt. By the looks of Fab's teaser for the 3rd season of Fabien Barel Presents, he's been waiting a long time ...
First he's down to the cellar to find the old horse. It must have been put up last year and forgotten for the entire winter.
Time to dust it off and get serious about the new season ...
Emerging into the sunshine, Fab finds familiar scenery. The south of France is his favorite place and fortunately the early season riding abides. The distinctive grey ridges await, and it's not long before he's ripping new lines on familiar terrain.
Look for the full season of films, one per month, starting in just a few short weeks!
1. Fabien Barel kicks ass. 2. He's great about sharing his skill and educating others (check out his vids) 3. The French piss me off with their easy style and aplomb.
It's near Guillaumes, it's called "Terres grises" and there is also a similar spot near Digne les bains, under the "Pic de Couard" mountain (called "Terres noires").
