Thanks Scott. Super flattered!

A van has been the best thing I added to my cycling program. I think I'm going to turn into a kooky hippie one day. Forget about that evil thing called work. Load up a few of the bikes, wife, and the trail cat. Role out and never look back. Live life one bike trail at a time.
(Jul 21, 2016 at 10:05)
Shout out to Max and Simon for making us look like we know what we are doing! These kids are far too talented for their age and absolutely crush it.
(Jul 4, 2016 at 23:16)
Shit's tight Max, nice work! Taylor needs to realize bikes are sooper seerius though and stop smiling so damn much.

Kamloops native who is now living on the other side of the Rockies and missing it terribly...
The best part about the loops beyond the terrain variety has to be that every thing they rode is 30 minutes away from downtown. Even Sun Peaks is an easy 45. Kenna can literally ridden right out your back door and Rio (with a shuttle) is a 10 minute drive and 20 minute pedal traverse. I haven't ridden in S. Arm but I bet it's the same.
I was so spoiled. Now an hour to bragg creek or K-country seems to take forever...

Oh to be young again. Last MTB road trip I did with the boys was in 94 to ride the north shore and race the Vernon WC on the way back to Calgary. You don't realize how good those trips are until you stop doing them. Cheers, this really made my day. I can't complain though, going to Mammoth next week and whistler the week after with the fam, so not all bad.

Guess we better not stop then. Happy to share the stoke and remind you of good times!

Warm and Fuzzy.
(Jul 21, 2016 at 9:11)
But please tell me you guys actually rode more than just Lookout Trail and Black Powder while in Vernon... that's no more that a generous tow hours of riding over two days, including climbing time. I would have thought you would at least hit Big Ed since you had gone and camped up on the FSR (assuming it was in King Eddie area).
I get that it takes way longer to get through a trail when you are trying to video and take pictures, but Black Powder linked together with Cosens Bay Express normally just takes a few short minutes to ride down to the beach.
You seemed to only ride one or two trails in each of the other areas as well, these seems to be more of a "taking our bikes along with us on our trip" rather than a "mountain biking trip".
I'm not really trying to criticize, I'm mostly curious as to why the descriptions of riding areas seemed to be so limited.
(Jul 21, 2016 at 19:15)
We actually did WAY more riding than is shown in the photos or video, but Simon and Max have to shred too! It is hard to document everything and keep things short enough for the modern attention span. Tried our best mate.
(Jul 22, 2016 at 1:48)
I am actually super stoked that the got to experience Vernon MTB, and only documented two of the trails that I ride the least
(Jul 22, 2016 at 13:09)
: Cool, thanks for sharing it, you guys did a great job with the video and the pictures.
I would be interested in hearing about some of the other trails you hit, even if you don't have pictures or video of them!
(Jul 21, 2016 at 8:03)
Doesn't get much better than a BC road trip!
(Jul 27, 2016 at 7:50)
