DH bikes are fun but seem completely unnecessary after watching this and seeing what a capable rider on a trail bike can do. That road gap on a single crown is ridonculous! Props to the rider and the large sack he has to fly with!

in reality it's not. Travel on one off big hits isn't everything. Guys were going this big on 160-170mm Kona Stinkys back in the day with shittier shocks and more weight. the modern trail bike has way better progressive linkages, and way better suspension than the old days.

Would not call a 170/160mm enduro race bike a trail bike. The Meta 29 weighs about 16kgs with pedals. Its a pretty heavy duty bike made to go down.

Yeah even if they had permission I can never really get past people filming lines someone else busted their ass on for their own edit. What makes a rider different to me is putting in the work building to film something unique rather than just thinking people forget they saw a line already
