Not to be mistaken for the EWS Enduro, the SRAM Canadian Open Challenger Enduro presented by Camelbak (and henceforth in this post to be referred to as the "Challenger Enduro") was more of an EWS "Lite" event. It was composed of 4 stages, rather than the EWS Enduro's 5 monster stages. Stage one was similar to the stage one of the EWS race, but was cut off before racers hit the bottom of the hill. Stage two of the Challenger was stage three of the EWS, and stages three and four of the Challenger Enduro are stage 5 of the EWS race. Still confused? Simple: this was the Enduro race held for the racers unable to get into the EWS Enduro for one reason or another. Basically, it's an appetizer for the main event. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the undercard event before the main event on Sunday.
Tha-tha-tha-tha-that's all folks!
