Jumping dirt mounds with a pair of wheels is second nature for Indian National SX Champ Harith Noah. When not boosting a 450 cc TVS Racing beast, Harith cranks down mountain slopes. Staying on a fueled weapon on weekdays and clipping onto a mtn bike on weekends, Kerala’s 24 year old is eyeing podiums in both sports.

On a recent visit to the mountain town of Pune, Maharashtra, Harith got his enduro rig dirty. Riding Pune's infamous lines and sessioning some supreme zones.

Very cool. I travel to India a few times a year for work but never thought about mountain biking there.

The outdoor sports potential there is unreal. Skiing, biking, kayaking, climbing and more. I have a few friends who've been there and a few who were born there/have family there and although the Indians have certainly tapped into some of it, there's a vast portion that's totally untapped.

Anytime I go anywhere I think about mountain biking there...

He's out on the bike which is what I'm doing in about half hour which is the main thing .Keep riding Hadith and with a name like Noah you never know when the weather will change! Ok .. PS I'd like to ride there it's about right for me I could manage that with a couple of tumbles ,why lie .Also I'm sure he's on a YT capra . Happy Days.

Went to India 2 years ago, potential there is unreal. You have the foothills of the highest mountain range in the world running across the north so it's not surprising. From Kashmir all the way across to Darjeeling with some of the best views of the Himalayas too. MBUK did an article on riding in India last year. Asia is untapped......

I was lucky enough to race a few Downhills in Europe with Harith. This one's a pretty much down-to-earth guy and he's killing it on the bike. Can't wait to see what the future holds up for him! Ride on Harith!

That's some sweet terrain you've got to play with. Looks like fun. Hope to see more from India, could be a great winter riding destination.

I'm going to India in a week. Going to be in Rajasthan and Ludihana, this is probably a ong shot but do you know of any places to rent a bike around there or trails to ride?
  • + 1
@StayChillin rental bikes aren't available easily. May be a few tour operators have hardtails they could rent out. But its a slim idea. Trails aren't listed from that region that much.
@vineet buddy do you know of riding spots in Rajashtan or Ludhiana?

i was looking for the jump in the video and then i realised how small it was haha Big Grin great video otherway, but that jump was kinda pathetic
  • + 3
 @RedBurn
1: That jump is on an public land!
2: It was broken down by miscreants a week before we shot there.

And well, its all about "Enduro" anyway Wink Cheers
  • + 2
@menon: of course I can imagine, i didnt wanna look rude... of course, as long it's enduro thats perfect !

  • + 2
@cottonmouthdug the black rock line Harith is rolling down off is part of the trail "POOR MAN'S RAMPAGE" Big Grin
A section I named for my old buddy who isn't with us now. Since travelling to Utah is expensive, the "PMR" line serves as a fun alternative Big Grin
