I simply can't understand how it could be an improvement to change the direction of the rotational force of the pedals twice before it gets to the back wheel. It is different, but better?

Is This Linkage Fork the Future of Suspension? - Crankworx Whistler 2017
I've worked in medical device design for the last 25 years and have always striven for the simplest design possible to get the job done. At first glance this thing seems overly complex for the task at hand. I don't think I would ever trust my safety to the steering linkage shown. Time to break out Occam's razor and start cutting. There is no reason to add complexity for the sake of complexity, or looking different, or trying to win a design award.
