Video: Riding One of Steamboat's Fastest Trails in Prime Fall Conditions

Steamboat Colorado's newest trail, Sprangus, is one of its fastest trails. Our favorite time to ride it is during fall. When the aspens are peaking and the soil is moist we call it the Sprangus rut.

 I had a chance to ride this back in 2020 - its a super fun trail, but I don't know about "Colorado's Best Trail"... heck, I think Grouse is way more fun and challenging.

 Such a fun trail and amazing time of the year to highlight here in Steamboat! Many thanks to the trail crews and Routt County Riders for pushing for directional user specific trails on our public lands. It's not easy... Can't wait for the riding season to get here!

 Nice video Trevyn! I like the aerial view of the mini canyon gap. I've hit it once so far, but not quite as smooth as on here.

 Cool flow trail but nowhere near the best in CO. Steamboat needs more jank trails!

 For sure to each their own. Steamboat needs way more trails in general but we need more challenging trails above all!

 went to steamboat 7 years ago. Rode from rabbit ear pass to Mt. Warner , then next day hit up the bike park. i wish i had more time to ride other stuff.

 My go to is Grouse to Spring Roll. Combined makes it the best in Colorado, in my opinion.

 To some, biking is about being in beautiful places and seeing nice scenery. To others, it's about going fast and pushing themselves. Nobody has the right to make fun of how other's enjoy their version of the sport.
