I converted this bike to a 1x10 drivetrain, but I still have all the components to return it to a 3x10 (which I can do if you so desire).

I'm selling two tires and will sell together of separate. I got them with a set of wheels but these tire would not fit the bike I was building. They've been mounted but don't show signs of use. Schwalbe Nobby Nic 27.5x3.0 - asking $50 + shipping Schwalbe Rocket Ron 27.5x2.8 - asking $55 + shipping If you would like both, I can do $90 + shipping Thanks, Mike

My father-in-law bought this bike new back in 1990. With the exception of a few rides, this bike has sat inside most of its life. The specifications for the bike can be found here: http://www.vintage-trek.com/Trek-Fisher-Klein-Lemond/1990specmanualFisher.pdf The derailleurs and brakes have been recently tuned and everything is in good working condition and ready to ride. I prefer local pickup (can meet you in Seattle) but will do $250+shipping. Thank you for looking! Mike

I am the original owner of this awesome, versatile bike. The bike has been well maintained and cleaned after each ride. Brakes are still strong. Only noticeable blemish is from the brake cables on the head tube. All parts are original (with the exception of the tires and tubes - Randonneur 700x35c) and can be found in the 2012 Surly Catalog on page 51 here: https://surlybikes.com/uploads/downloads/7181_SUR_2012_Cat_web.pdf One of the best things about the Karate Monkey is that it was designed to be very customizable... With the skinny tires and the single speed set up, this bike is perfect for cruising around the city (the 33x17 gear ratio is great for Seattle too.) Additionally, you could easily add a rear derailleur (and front) for any kind of drive train set up. Throw a set of forks on it and you've got a real mean All Mountain Hardtail capable of handling whatever you throw at it. I am very fond of this bike and only selling it because I don't live close enough to the city to get consistent use out of it... I'm also in the process of building my third AM bike and could use the extra room. Thank you for looking! Mike
