I just sat down with my shred buddy Brendan Schneeberger, aka "Schne" and fired some questions his way. This kid just turned 12 years old and everything from Downhill, Dirtjumps, street, you name it-he kills it. We've been riding together for a while and he definitely needs to be recognized as a solid local rider. This kid is top notch both on and off the bike. He also has some pretty mad skills behind the lens.
Here is what he had to say:
Your name and location:
-Full name:Brendan Isaac Schneeberger and I live in Chilliwack.
What is your Pinkbike Profile name?
-
SchneAge:
-too young. I'm 12.
How long have you been riding?
-I came out of the womb on wheels. But Mountain biking and dirtjumping for 2 years now.
If I lived in Chilliwack where would I expect to see you riding?
-Probably Riding street, or the Skatepark, or on Little Mountain building/riding-you could say Little Mountain is my back yard.
How long have you been trail building/trying to maintain trails on Little?
-For as long as I've been riding-2 years. I learned from the get go that you have to maintain in order to always enjoy the jumps and trails.
What's your favorite thing on your bike?
-My grips are so steezy. And my Pinkbike bar end caps are pretty wild too!
What do you do in Winter?
-Freeskiing!
How's that going for you this year?
So SICK, just landed my first back flip a few weeks ago. I'm injured now because I tried a cork 720 and was so close but took it to the shoulder on the landing.
What camera are you currently using?
-Pentax K100D, me and Mike(you) both have the same camera and it's WICKED! Look for new shots coming this summer, it's going to be off the hook.
Who do you normally ride with?
-(you)Mike Dekoning, for dirtjumps and DH and Andrew Kornelsen for street and park.
If you could live anywhere else, where would it be and why?
-Whistler. Best Skiing and Biking anywhere in the world.
Are you currently working on any trails?
-Yes, but that's specified information. It's going to be sweet when it's finished.
What are your goals for 2008?
-Get my 360s dialed, and try some back flips. Oh, and nice big No Foot Cans are going to get dialed in too.
So I took all the footage I had of Brendan over the last 2 years and tried to make a quick video. It's kinda old, and it doesn't show just how good he is, but here you go. Make sure to check out all the shots at the end.
Here some shots I've got of this kid over the years:

Increasing his bag of tricks:
Pretty big sender for a 12 year old on a dirt jumping bike
He currently rides a pimped out Brodie Heathen. Look this kid up.
This guy has got some good skills on a bicycle and will no doubt keep moving up in biking.
Hope you enjoyed it.
