The first stop of the RockShox Enduro Challenge took place this weekend in Mt.Buller, Australia, and a number of high profile riders, including a few who are typically found on DH tracks, showed up to participate. Photographers Jason Stevens and Jaime Black were on the ground to document the race rigs of the pros. Sam HillJackson Davis Specialized's Enduro 650B was a familiar site at the race. Jackson Davis is most often found on the DH circuit, but decided to try his hand at enduro racing for the weekend. His bike is nearly identical to the S-Works version we
recently reviewed, except that the stock Slaughter semi-slick rear tire has been swapped out for a Butcher.

All sporting burly tires and stuff, while he´s on a 32 fork, NN+RoRa tire combi, xc-ish stem, no piggy shock, etc

Now... how did you like the way I masturbate mentally? This snow must melt down, days gotta get longer damn it! I want to ride! Help meeeee!
That was the old design.
Funny you mention the Carpa, because you can now get an Alu Capra BIKE for the same less than a SB6 frame.
I was at Outerbike and rode a bunch of bikes. Stumpy EVO, Bronson, Trans Scout, Turner Burner, Ibis HDR, Orbea Rallon, etc. Only the Ibis, which has less travel came close to the balance of plush and pedaling the SB6 did, though a better comparison would have been the SB5, which I could not get my hands on...people were sprinting and lining up for them all day.
"Having visited Buller recently i can attest to the very pedal heavy nature of the trails and it seems that these pedally section conspired against a not 100% Jerome Clementz."
