In addition to all the shiny new bikes and components, the exhibition halls at Eurobike are full of footwear and apparel aimed at everyone from super-classy commuters to riders who venture out in Arctic-like conditions. On the mountain biking side of things, it seems as if there are more options than ever aimed at trail riders in search of performance oriented shoes that don't turn into ice skates when they're used off the bike. What follows are a few new kicks from Ion, Mavic, and Shimano.

There's one thing on your mind
Hoping they're looking for you
Sure you'll be rummaging' through
I hope we can see some biking moon boots for 2017.
Mavic makes me ashamed of being a mountain biker, or a human, or just having feet
stevie wonder can see.
No? Just me? I'll let myself out...
But how do we get the strap from down here to up here?
Oh we'll just run it diagonally.
Don't you think that'll look funny?
No we'll colour them blue, people will love it.
offer half sizes anymore, only whole sizes. There is no contact info that I can find on the Shimano website. What's the deal? I need a 44.5, that's the way it is. 44 doesn't work, and 45 doesn't work. I guess I need to switch shoe brands after so many years.
trace out a pattern from an insole from a sneaker you like .
my pattern fits into my vans old skools that are a 1/2 size larger.
with the plastic inserts, they're slightly stiff, but w/plenty of pedal feel.
real decent grip too

Holy Molly....seeing ''that things'' they call MTB shoes..... I hope Fiveten keep the Freerider model alive forever....
Observer before: "Damn, that's gonna hurt!"
Now: "Whoa, you see those shoes?"
From all of us to all of you cross-eyed colorblind sons of bitches, thank you!
