  • 34 1
This bike needs to be....AT LEAST 3 times bigger!
  • 9 0
I think I got the black lung pop...
  • 3 2
@justinhu23: I wonder if that would be big enough for Danny’s balls?
  • 5 0
@mayha49: I don't think the entirety of the British isles is big enough for Danny's balls.

How do you expect kids to learn how to ride when they cant even fit on the bike?
  • 6 0
The storage is IN the bike?
  • 2 0
 @justinhu23: Absolutely right !
  • 2 0
@matt-15 How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to ride... if they can't even fit on the bike?

Nice dad's jokes contest, well tried, but nobody wins.

Probably still costs at least $5k
(awesome though)
  • 18 6
No, spending money on this is why your basic SC costs $5K
  • 10 1
 Frameset, yes
  • 7 8
LOL, and with those SRAM parts that don't work!
  • 29 0
Is this the shrinkflation I’ve read about?
  • 2 0
you know, i had a feeling it was a little smaller than usual
  • 28 0
 26mm ain't dead!
  • 28 3

But this doesn't answer the questions, it just creates MORE questions! Where do the tiny parts come from??

I can't find a 12 speed Shimano cassette anywhere, how'd you get one smaller than a dime?? Do miniature supply chains not have shortages? Are all the miniature factories working full time? No miniature barges filled with miniature parts stuck in miniature canals??
  • 1 0
 Right! So many questions still...
  • 7 0
Obviously they downsized to fit more units into scarce shipping containers and actually start to fulfill industry demand
  • 23 0
This is ridiculous, but awesome. Well done.

The coffee sip with the liquid level going down was fantastic, as where the real assemply sounds.
  • 9 0
Agreed. But what kind of lunatic takes a sip whilst holding the forks and spacers in the frame by hand before the stem and top cap go on.

Someone has way more free time than I do. It also vaguely reminds me of a nightmare where I'm trying to build something but my hands are too big and everything I touch bends, strips, and crumbles. Nicely done though.
  • 10 0
Best part was pumping up the tire. Gave me a chuckle.
  • 5 0
yes definitely had to go back and watch that part again, very impressive hand
  • 8 0
Man,that bike mechanic has some mahoosive hands
  • 8 0

  • 3 0
 *Handsome.
  • 9 1
 Retail: $8000.00
  • 7 1
That front wheel could be a little smaller.
  • 7 0
 How much does it weigh?
  • 5 0
 Finally ! A Santa Cruz I can afford !
  • 6 1
It sucks they only released a full asx version. I’ll hold out and hopefully an alloy frame is coming soon.
  • 4 0
I like how there’s a section of proper bike chain sitting on the bench just for scale.
  • 3 0
Pretty cool. I used to build lots of models as a kid. Perhaps some companies should makes some real model bikes that you can put together.
  • 4 0
Absolutely brilliant! Pure cinematic gold and I love it!
  • 4 1
I guess Santa Cruz pricing gives them the budget to make some sweet videos.

Also guess this is still a $10k build....
  • 4 0
And you thought your internal cable routing was a pain
  • 4 0
Reach numbers seem to be getting shorter again.
  • 1 0
It appears as if he initially put the rear brake rotor on backwards, but it all turned out well in the end so I won't complain. Impressively well done!
  • 3 0
get yours today for only 7999$
  • 3 0
I always thought Santa Cruz bikes ran small.
  • 2 0
Where can I buy this (or one like it)? I seriously want one
  • 8 0
Send a PM to timchenko.taras on Instagram. I believe he made the one for the original mini 5010 vid. Kinda lame that he did not get much, if any credit for it from SC. I think I paid around $100 for mine.
