Intense Throws a Party - The Rebirth of an Icon
Giant, Trek, Cannondale, Specialized and many others are mass produced with very few tolerance issues. Why would Intense be any different? God forbid a company that's starts in a garage has some issues growing up. They are making huge strides in the right direction. Kudos to Intense.

Intense Throws a Party - The Rebirth of an Icon
My Tracer 2 has some of the most beautiful welds I have ever seen. I certainly can't complain about quality of craftsmanship; I love my bike! Customer service is another issue. I really hope it improves drastically. I emailed them at least four times looking for torque specs and an owners manual that should have come with the bike, and I have yet to get a reply.

Pinkbike Poll: The Demise of 26'' Wheels - Unnecessary Extinction or Natural Evolution?
Maybe I'll be more interested in this whole debate in a few years when I have the need to buy a new bike. For now, my 26" Tracer 2 will work just fine for me. Besides, if larger diameter wheels roll over things and keep their momentum so much better, wouldn't riding a 26er help improve your skills more when you need to learn to maneuver over and around things instead of just casually rolling over them?

Pinkbike Poll: The One Bike
SRAM XO1 is supposedly on its way for the fall... Maybe we'll see X91 next year...?

Pinkbike Poll: The One Bike
After 20 years of riding I finally bought my "one" bike. 2012 Tracer 2 26" with a Fox 36 160mm fork and SRAM XO/X9 drivetrain. It is a little sluggish in the climbs but it flys with great confidence when pointed down the hill! I voted SRAM over Shimano because the shifting performance of the XO is amazing. I haven't had any issues with the Elixer 9 brakes yet but I'm no stranger to the common complaints of Avid. The only things it is missing (for now) is a dropper post.
