Forcefield Grid Knee Protectors - Review
Forcefield makes excellent, if expensive protection. I have a 5-year-old pair of the kneepads - similar to these - that have been through countless spills and the mesh is still holding up. They really are comfortable enough to forget they're there. As for protection, I also got Forcefield armor to replace the BS foam that came in my motorcycle jacket after a friend of mine wearing full Forcefield armor survived a head-on collision when a car came into his lane around a corner at ~ 40 mph with little more than bruises- the EMT's could not believe he was not injured more.

RockShox Pike 426 Dual Air U-turn, 20mm thru-axle

$220 USD
For sale is a 2009 or 2010 (don't remember which- I bought the fork as a new take-off in 2011) RockShox Pike Dual Air U-turn fork with 20mm Maxle thru-axle. Travel adjusts from 140 - 110mm. Straight 1 1/8" steel steerer tube cut to 8". The fork is in good condition- it does not leak from either chamber, and all adjustments work. Missing rebound adjuster on lower leg, but rebound can be adjusted with an allen key. One minor scuff on the right slider - this did not gouge the anodizing and feels smooth. A couple of minor paint scratches on the lowers, but these are only cosmetic. Probably due for an oil change - oil and seals were both replaced a couple years ago, but ready to ride as is. This is an awesome fork- I replaced it with a coil-sprung Marzocchi for my steel hardtail, but it worked great on my 125mm trail bike which I've since sold. The fork is more than stiff enough for all-mountain riding, smooth and the adjustability is great for long climbs, etc. Buyer pays shipping, US or local pickup only

MagLOCK Pedal - Interbike 2015
Shouldn't be an issue in red desert soils. These soils, and the sandstones they formed from, are red because of hematite coating on sand and silt-sized quartz grains. Hematite is anti-ferromagnetic (not aligned with a magnetic field, and therefore not attracted to a magnet). Magnetite on the other hand is ferromagnetic (hence the name), so there might be the occasional grain stuck to the pedal. This could actually be more of an issue in certain volcanic soils...

Salsa 'El Kaboing' frame size M

$375 USD
Size M Salsa El Kaboing frame for sale. Salsa only made this frame for a couple of years, and it is the last (and only) 26" full suspension frame they made. This is a great trail bike - comfortable, quick, and more stable through the rough stuff than the geometry might suggest. http://salsacycles.com/bikes/archive/el_kaboing I swapped over most of the build to an On-one 456 frame to try something different without spending multiple paychecks on a new bike. The frame has normal wear from cable rub, some minor scrapes from chain suck on the drive side chainstay, but no dents or gouges - see pics. Shock is original Fox RP2 - needs a service, but holds air and rides just fine. Pivot bearings are original Enduro bearings - these were re-greased about a year ago to fix a minor creak, which returned but can be silenced by dripping a bit of chain lube on the pivots. New pivot bearings should be relatively inexpensive if you do the work yourself, and the bike is totally rideable as-is. Frame includes a Syncros seat post, Salsa QR seatpost clamp, a working Shimano BB, Blackspire double chain guide, and I'll throw in a SLX front mech too if you want it. Buyer pays all shipping costs.
