Review: Santa Cruz Bronson V3
@Captain-Ron: I had 350s from a stock Norco Sight build and they came with 36T. I upgraded wheels and got 350s again and opted for the 18 just to compare, but thought I'd swap in the 36 after trying the 18. Nope. At least where I live and ride, that faster engagement is a non-issue. And I like that the 18s are quieter. @heinous: I've pulled apart my 350s about once a year for the last five years — not only is there no visible or tangible wear on the star ratchets, but the grease is usually super clean too. DT for the win for ease of service and durability. I have 240s on my cross bike, but only because they were part of a crazy good deal on a wheelset. The upcharge to 240s seems unnecessary to me, but to each his own.

Photo Epic: Forfeit, Marlboros, & Riding Canadian Alpine - A Yeti Tribe Story
Wow! Great pics, great writing. And I think you maybe also broke some Canadian illuminati blood oath — to never mention hockey or Tim Horton's on PB. Don't worry, even if teams below the 49th may win Stanley Cups, hockey is still yours. And Tim's, well, that's just not even in contention.

Selling my lightly used 2015 Kona Unit. Steel is Real! Reynolds 520. It's in great shape with just a few cosmetic scuffs from normal use. I bought it as a stripped down rigid single speed, but quickly made lots of upgrades to make it a lot more fun. However, I ride my full suspension bike most of the time and a cross bike the rest of the time so the Unit has barely been used. Below are the specs as it is built up now: Frame: size Large, dark purple Fork: Fox 32 Performance Step Cast, 100mm, Boost spacing Front Wheel: Race Face Aeffect 30, set up tubeless Front Tire: Maxxis Ardent 29 x 2.25 Handlebar: Race Face Turbine, 760mm, 12mm rise Stem: Race Face Turbine: 60mm Brake levers: Shimano XT M8000 Brake calipers: Shimano XT M8000 Rotors: Avid G2CS, 180mm front and back Rear Wheel: WTB i23 rim laced to Shimano hub, 135mm X 9mm quick release (dropouts are swappable to 142 thru axle or single speed, I'm including the SS dropout) Rear Tire: Maxxis Ardent 29 x 2.25 Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT, 10 spd Shifter: Shimano XT, 10 spd Crankset: FSA Comet Chainring: Race Face 30T, narrow wide Cassette: Shimano 11-36 Seatpost: KS Eten 100mm dropper (lever under saddle, works great!) Saddle: Kona branded WTB volt Headset: Cane Creek 10 Grips: Kona branded lock ons Also: 12mm bottom cup on the headset, coupled with the 100mm Fox 32 effectively slacken the head angle about 1.5 degrees from the stock geo Also Included! Kona P2 rigid fork and original WTB i23/Shimano front wheel with 100mmX9m quick release hub spacing. Cash only, no trades.

Review: Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt Carbon 70
@codfather1234: 3 years back my short list was the Thunderbolt, 5010, Troy and Norco Sight. Really dug the Troy, but the 5010 came in second and I got the Sight. I didn't love the Thunderbolt (even though I thought that would be my favorite.) Been stoked on the Sight ever since. I'm not gonna lie though, a friend has the new 29er Sight and I think about that bike quite a bit.
