Vail?!?

Why does Vail's DH suck? How is it possible that the largest ski area in the U.S. has possibly the worst DH scene? We have no actual "trail crew". While Keystone has a staff who get bike sponsors(I think this year they get Demo 7s and last year they all had Yetis). Rumor has it that our mountain director has hopes of a 2009 world cup in Vail. The way I see it, we don't deserve it. Our trails have been sub par for the last 5yrs. The only newish trail is old 9 and is a good tech trail. They decided to re-route a renegade trail, PMT, call it new, into an off-camber meandering roll. Magic Forest is just weird now. The '94 Dh trail is soo rundown and old(94), the two hip sections (rights then left) barely exist, and have been modifided for the worse. You really have to search for air here. Whoever is changing the jumps here needs to learn alot about building trails before someone get seriously hurt. We do have Mane Lane, 2 good jumps, 4 or 5 good berms but the most retarted bridge to end it(I'm surprised there hasn't been a serious injury from a dh or xc rider as of yet). The powers that be have tried to log off existing, good trails(01, Radio Flyer, 007, your mom , your sister), even ones that were used in comps. Shame on Vail. I'm writing this as a plea to make DH better here. Bender come help us. We need you! We have sooo much rolly terrain and yery few actual steeps that Vail could be the best in the west. I don't get it. ???
