Mini Review: Kenda Small Block eight

This the go-to street, pavement, dirt, harpack, Cross and XC tyre for many people out there. You can run them 'till they're bald, it doesn't make much difference. The SB8s are a cheap and somewhat versatile tyre in the dry, and only in the dry. Anything slippery or muddy and it just clogs up. Cornering performance is definitely something that you give up with this, but they've improved on that with the new slant six. for a crisp twenty, you can own one of these and they will last forever. The sidewalls will give out before you can run them bald, but if you put adequate pressure, the sidewalls won't tear and wear quickly, if at all.

Pros:
Cheap as Dirt
Versatile Dry Tyre
Versatile Wet pavement tyre
Doesn't matter how much wear they have
still roll fast at like 8 psi
Rounder, predictable profile

Cons:
Don't corner particularly well
Forget riding through mud
The little squares are perfect for those goathead thorns
