I last filmed Ryan a couple of years ago and knew he has the talent and skill to make it big. He's just started on his journey and I'm sure we will see much more of him! This is what he has to say:
'My names Ryan Tunnell, Im a self employed plasterer from Plymouth down in the southwest of England, trying to earn enough money to allow me to ride and race as much as possible!
In 2019 I had a really good season, with a slow start to the year, I had a few average results in Expert, but mid way through the season things just started to click! With the support from a few of my sponsors we managed to get the bike working perfect, I managed to get a few podiums, with a two 3rds and a win at the British Nationals. Which put me in 2nd overall in the series and first overall in the British cycling national rankings. I was stoked with the year and it was finally time for me to move up into elite.
This year I’m looking forward to see how I get on against the top boys at all the races. I’m
Planning to race all the British National Series, national champs, local downhill races and hopefully 1 or 2 IXS.
This year I’m training hard to achieve my goals and can’t wait to get to the races!
It’s gonna be a good year for sure!'
