A couple weeks after shooting some of the trail segments for this edit, I found myself out riding those same trails. Each section from the video that I'd ride would remind me of how Dean rode them. Sections where I would barely get my tires off the ground, Dean would be doubling and tripling sections, landing 10 or 15 feet down trail. Now, I like to think of myself as a fairly capable rider, but trying to follow in the tire tracks of elite racers is a humbling experience. I know I'll never be that quick, but watching guys like Dean ride, I'll be damned if I don't let off the brakes just a little bit more next time I'm on the trail.

Higher Calling
After shooting the video, we teamed up with Jose Brand of Kano Games to bring you a two-dimensional replica of the features in "Higher Calling". Jose built the track for Free Rider 3, so you can ride Dean's lines without the risk of injury.

 I don't know what everyone is so stoked about, I thought he looked out of control. I mean, he couldn't even sit down, clearly he had troubles keeping it on the ground, and whenever he was in the air it wouldn't stay straight. Seriously Dean, that was great, I love your style and you are such a great embassador for our local trail system!

 Great edit, great rider for sure but its not my cup of tea either. Probably gonna get some flak for this but aside from the jumps, it looked like it could have been a cyclocross track. So sick of videos showcasing dudes on full on DH rigs riding tracks with apparently no rocks or even bumps in them.

 Sorry to leave a negative comment on a video I haven't seen; I'm not sure where the official pink bike suggestions thread is. I noticed the last few videos posted on the main page are flash. This is not conducive to my morning coffee and pink bike fix, as I use my iPad. Please don't let this be a permanent change; this would make me, and from what I gather from the comments, a lot of people unhappy.

 That's why I ditched apple years ago.. A company full of wind and trying to make everyone use there product or you can't interact with your friends. Its arbour time apple joins the real world. They switched it back because majority of users were having troubles with watching the videos on their new player. Once you leave apple you'll never look back..lol

 I love everything about this video!!!! The riding to say the least is ridiculous...he's in the air more than on the ground and that last shot in slo mo is epic!!!! Some of those drops look like he'll just keep falling! Love the colors, angles, tempo and song choice goes perfect with the riding!! GREAT job mind spark!! Another banger!!!!!

 Dean came out and raced all 5 (vancouver) Island Cup Races last year. Was super awesome to see him return to his roots and do all the races. I wish him the best of luck. A humble and awesome guy!

 I think transition are missing out hugely, they have either gotta be stupid or developing a 160mm frame, a endurencey tr250 would be the perfect bike, unless im missing something?
